Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born on April 30 1991), often referred to as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is a popular American rapper from the United States. He's also a songwriter, singer record producer, singer, and songwriter. The stage name he uses is the mixture of the name of a favourite uncle and the name of Kid Cudi (whose real names are Scott Mescudi and Scott Mescudi), which is his first major-label contract with Epic Records. Scott also signed a publishing contract with Kanye's GOOD Music. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. He signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash track "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) together with Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first rapper to make it to the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
